Google claimed the name for Cloud 2.0 and I'd like to see where it is
now?
NB:
Very
important understanding about the topic is historically, the
Cloud (1.0) was driven by CapEX vs. OpEX, as the main focal point in
Cloud Economics (not by innovative Technology) and that's why we've
seen all spectra of ugly solutions if the deployment, e.g. VMs, Containers
and etc, and this
is exactly the source of Mega-Bills for
Mega-Watts in power consumption for
many many data-centers.
Now, the
real question: How Cloud-2.0 is going to address this
overhead in the technology??? so far, it is still containers and VMs even for lambda-functions.
It is the time for new computational
model?, if so, it is the time start working on it.
